6 day workweek shit really sucks. It feels like I have no time to do anything. It's not all hard work. We do some fun jobs too. This 70 something yr old man that my boss has known for like 25 yrs wanted trails through his property. He owns 50+ acres of mostly bush, 3 ponds and a hayfield that his neighbor rents. We always called him peg leg because he only has 1 leg. Someone ran into him with a snow blower 20 some years ago. When Jerry(peg leg) bought the farm he intended to make it a christmas tree farm and spent a few years planting 2000+ trees. He lost his leg before he had a chance to trim and maintain them. Since he lost his leg the trees were allowed to grow wild. This year he decided he wanted the bush cleaned up we started by limbing up the trees six feet.
Sorry about the crappy quality of the photos. I'm not allowed to use Chrissy's camera. ;)

I still have another 4-5 acres left to trim. We'll probably do the rest in the fall. the trails were pretty tough to cut out but with a chainsaw and tractor anything is possible.

When we took Jerry for a ride through the trails he was very excited. He hadn't seen some spots of his property in a long time. I plan on taking Chrissy and the kids out to his place to fish and walk the trails.
