I have no dedication. Just look at my blog 16 days since my last post. Well I have been working a lot so thats my excuse. Speaking of work I've pretty well had it with dick. Yesterday he just never showed up. No call or nothing I got ready to leave at the usual 8:30 and waited and waited. This has happened a few times in the last 4 years and every time it pisses me off. I know he'll call this morning and say something stupid when I ask him what happened. I can hear his stupid voice now. "so what the hell did you do all day yesterday...sleep" I'll likely tell him I was working on my resume. Oh well the day wasn't a total write off Chrissy and I got our room deep cleaned. We washed all the blinds cleaned under all the furniture and even ripped up the old carpet. We actually had a fun day working side by side. If I have today off I'll get all the windows in the house washed.

It's mothers day. The kids are very excited about honoring their Mom. So am I. We Plan on waking her up with breakfast in bed. Probably pancakes. I'll make them in the shape of #1 MOM. I can't wait to see her present from Jacob. He's in kindergarten and his teacher had the class make their moms something. I am very lucky to have Chrissy as a wife and mother to my kids. She is doing a great job with them. I respect and admire her choice to stay home with them till there both in school full time. She gives up a lot to do that but the results are worth it. I work all the time 6 days a week usually and I have since we had them. So all that the kids are is due to the influence Chrissy has had on them. I see the things I fell in love with Chrissy shining through the kids. I see her in Jacob's smile and in his zest for life. Emma is growing up and as she does she is looking more and more like her mom everyday. Emma has Chrissy compassion for everyone and her love for animals. These kids are very lucky to have her and so am I.

Happy Mothers day Chrissy. Thank you, Love you.

The other day we received mail from our church. They are putting a 1.7 million addition on the church. They're looking for donations. So far they've raised $500,000. A local trucking company has already donated $300,000 and will get the meeting hall named after them. For $50,000 you can have the courtyard named after you. Another church in town bought the old public school and will spend who knows how much to convert. A new church is being built this year as well. Over the last few years 2 other church's have done extensive repairs. I think there are 6 different religions practicing in town. It amazes me that all this money is being spent on the looks of the buildings yet we still have hungry kids walking around. There is also a new arena being built in town. 7 million dollars of tax payers money and donations. The thing that gets me is that my kids won't be able to play hockey there due to cost. For the 2 of them to play hockey it would cost us $1000. That doesn't include equipment and tournaments.

Its T.V. turn off week. The kids brought home some bullshit from school saying that we had to give up all screens for a week, that includes this computer. Chrissy and I are playing along with them. But as soon as they go to sleep hehe. Emma decided that we are allowed to watch survivor and thats it. I tried to say that I needed to watch the weather network and the news for work but she wasn't buying it. We have to fill in a sheet every day that says how we did. So far we are 2 days screen free.

After 3 weeks of near vacation I'm back to work full time, it sucks. It feels good to be back outside working but I miss being home with Chrissy and the kids. In the winter months(dec.-april) I am off other then when it snows. We plowed 40 times this year. 40 nights in 5 months leaves a lot of time off for other things. Once the nice weather gets here its go go go. The nice weather is here now and wow are we busy. I could work 14 hour days and still be behind. The guy I work for says were further behind then last year and the year before. The snow in April didn't help. We usually start sweeping parking lots the first week in April. This year we started last week. We start cutting lawns tomorrow and laying sod next. The guy I work for is a dick. If it wasn't for the work I'd likely go elsewhere but I love what I do. The physical demands and being outside are what I enjoy. My boss, he's a dick as I said before, I imagine that this will be my last year with him. He shows no appreciation for how hard I work and believes that the equipment is of greater value then me. I would like to go out on my own but its hard when I work 6 days a week now. Dick has taught me how to do most of the work and also how to price. When we go to quote a job its the 2 of us that come to a final price. I'm going to throw an add in the paper and see what happens. Currently in the town I live in there is no one offering certain landscaping services, we do them but get all our work by word of mouth. If I can prove to myself that there is enough work for me to go out alone this year then next year I'll be my own boss, but if not then I guess I'll have to look for a new job. Its almost time for the kids to get up for school so I better turn of the computer.
